It's no secret that water is the basis of life of any living being. That is why it is so important to form the habit of drinking water. The recommended norm is 30 ml per 1 kg of weight, if your weight is more than 100 kg, then the daily norm of liquid is no more than three liters.


What characteristics should the water we drink have? If you use bottled water, I would draw your attention to the fact that it is not stored in plastic containers. Therefore, when you choose water on the shelves of the store, it is better to give preference to glass packaging. It is also important to remember that warm water is absorbed better than cold water. Every morning it is recommended to start with a glass of warm water with lemon juice or natural apple cider vinegar, preferably 30 minutes before breakfast.


Other characteristics of "ideal water" include the following indicators:


  • physical, chemical and bacteriological purity;
  • mineralization less than 1000 mg/l;
  • acid-base balance pH 7.5;
  • redox potential negative (-100 or more)
  • high fluidity without a film on the surface;
  • the absence of heavy isotopes of hydrogen (deuterium).

Is carbonated water bad for the liver and kidneys?

Despite the many advantages, such water is not recommended to drink daily. The positive properties of sparkling water are as follows.

  1. Favorably influences a metabolism. Cells receive sufficient nutrition and actively participate in metabolic processes.
  2. Reduces appetite.
  3. Stimulates the digestive tract, improves bowel function, preventing constipation.
  4. Carbonated mineral water has a positive effect on the tissues and blood vessels of the brain, relieves headaches, and also prevents pain in the joints and muscles.
Carbonated mineral water removes intoxication of the body, reduces kidney disease.
At the same time, such water is contraindicated:

  • during an exacerbation of chronic diseases;
  • with a disease of the gastrointestinal tract, as it increases the level of acidity in the stomach, irritates the mucous membrane and exacerbates inflammation;
  • carbonated water can increase gas formation against the background of irritable bowel syndrome;
  • in the presence of stones in the gallbladder or bladder more than 5 mm.

How to drink sparkling water

Ordinary carbonated water can be drunk without restrictions, if there are no contraindications, and the doctor should determine the amount of drinking medicinal water. For healthy people, there are the following rules:

  1. 0.5-1 glass three times a day half an hour before meals.
  2. The water temperature should be 36-37 o C.
  3. It is necessary to drink water without haste, in small sips.
  4. The recommended duration of the healing course is 30-45 days.
