4 unusual Olivier salad recipes: with chicken, shrimp and more

 Many do not imagine the New Year's table without Olivier salad. We propose to make one traditional this year, the other from our selection. And compare which is better!


1. With apple and chicken

With apple and chicken


Ingredients

  • chicken - 300 g;
  • carrots - 1 piece;
  • eggs - 4 pieces;
  • pickled cucumber - 2 pieces;
  • fresh cucumbers - 2 pieces;
  • canned peas - 1 can;
  • sour apple - 1 piece;
  • lemon - 1 piece;
  • sour cream - 100 g;
  • mayonnaise - 70 g;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • salt - to taste.

Cooking

  1. Dice pickled and fresh cucumbers. Drain the liquid from the jar of green peas. 
  2. Boil meat, carrots, cool eggs, cut into cubes. Remove the skin from the apple and cut it in the same way.  
  3. Mix the juice of half a lemon with sugar, mayonnaise and sour cream. Add to salad and mix. 
  4. Garnish with herbs before serving. 

2. With shrimps

With shrimps

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 4 tubers;
  • peeled shrimp - 300 g;
  • chicken eggs - 4 pieces;
  • pickled cucumber - 1 piece;
  • fresh cucumber - 1 piece;
  • green onions - a bunch;
  • mayonnaise - 120 g;
  • salt - to taste. 

Cooking

  1. Boil and cool the shrimp. 
  2. Cut boiled potatoes, chicken eggs, cucumbers and green onions. 
  3. Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl, add sauce and salt to taste. 
  4. Optionally, you can add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. 
  5. Stir before serving. 

3. With red fish

With red fish

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 5 tubers;
  • red fish s / s - 300 g;
  • fresh cucumber - 2 pieces;
  • fresh frozen green peas - 200 g;
  • butter - 30 g;
  • mayonnaise - 120 g.

Cooking

  1. Boil the tubers, cool and peel. Cut potatoes, red fish, cucumbers into cubes. 
  2. Melt the butter in a frying pan, fry the peas, cool. 
  3. Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl, mix with mayonnaise. 
  4. Decorate with herbs before serving. 

4. Vegetarian

Vegetarian

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 5 tubers;
  • tofu - 100 g;
  • chicken eggs - 4 pieces;
  • pickled cucumber - 1 piece;
  • fresh cucumber - 1 piece;
  • carrots - 1 piece;
  • canned peas - ½ can;
  • canned corn - ½ can;
  • onion - 1 head;
  • mayonnaise - 150 g;
  • salt - to taste. 

Cooking

  1. Boil carrots, potatoes and chicken eggs. 
  2. Chop the onion, chop the potatoes, carrots, eggs, tofu. 
  3. Drain the liquid from the jar of peas and corn. 
  4. Mix the ingredients in a salad bowl with mayonnaise and salt. You can add black pepper.
